The property is located up a hill with beautiful trails all around. Restaurants and some shopping are also nearby (10 minute walk) Mountain views are wonderful as well.

The place is near the mountains and the nature, so you can relax without any street noises and enjoy the sound of birds. No WiFi = more self discovery and nature. :) Sabine has natural hospitality and she has this pure energy in her, which you can't really forget so easily. We spent a month traveling around Europe and our two hosts here were our favorites, hard working, pleasant to talk to, knowledgeable about how to best spend our two days, even good at predicting the local weather ! A nice quiet location with mountainn views but still near all National Park , you can see Eagles nest from the property.

Host and hostess were very kind. Breakfast was good enough. The 3 menu dinner was excellent. We had 2 dinners during 2-night stays. Quiet and peaceful place. Wonderful scenery with a cup of coffee from the terras. I enjoyed Sauna. Wonderful. Host gave us bus cards for city transportation.

Haus Mariengrund is located in a beautiful place, with perfect views from the terrace. It is so picturesque that it looks almost clicheed. The room is convenient for a short stay, and nicely decorated. For one night, I brought some food and beer and had dinner on the terrace, instead of going to the city. After a day of hiking, it was great to just sit there watching the sunset. The location is better if you are travelling by car, but the bus stop is not that far away, and some shops and restaurants are within walking distance. A friendly cat will surely pay you a visit.
