Set in Kyle of Lochalsh, Heatherbrae Cosy Wooden Pod has a garden. Free private parking is available. We got caught in rain and it was almost 11 when we checked in to the pod. We informed her late at 9 PM and she was still accommodating to us even though she had to cancel her plans. I loved the way Heather warmly welcomed us into the pod. Parking was easy, pod was cosy and she explained A to Z when she gave us the keys. I especially loved her pulpy orange juice. Everything about this place was excellent.

Although this B&B does not provide breakfast, the owner of the B&B will give you a breakfast basket and a carton of milk for free on the first night of your stay. When we left the B&B, we left three pieces of clothing in the closet in the room. The owner of the B&B found out and promptly informed us. A very warm welcome,.and altgough she states no breakfast, we had our own fridge, stocked with milk, juice, water, fruit and yogurt. Also a microwave and porridge pots for DIY breakfast. Our room was luxurious with comfy twin beds, tv, and a unit with crockery etc. Large en-suit with toietries. Everything was spotlessly clean. Heather even washed all our picnic plates etc. I cannot recommwnd Heatherbrea highly enough. Heather has also recently installed a glamping pod in her garden, and although we dudn't see inside it was clearly a very upmarket unit and I'm sure would have been as high a standard as our room.

Located in Braes on the Isle of Skye, Balmoral Skye offers accommodation with sea views as well as mountain and garden views. Much much better than expected. Very large and clean bedroom/bathroom, super friendly owner. We even get a breakfast that was lovely prepared for us. Much place outside, even a private beach with fantastic views...

The artwork in the room w/ colorful prints reflecting the Scottish Highlands was incredible. Gavin was a wonderful host - was so welcoming and genuinely interested in getting to known us, how our trip had been and what we still had planned to do. Gave us some great insight and recommendations about things to do, places to see on Skye etc. Really enjoyed the drive he recommended to Skye Museum of Island of Life and will definitely have to make it back to go over to Dunvegan Castle, Coral Beach and Neist Point. Didn’t have enough daylight to get everything in but very much enjoyed our time in Skye, wish it could have been longer and will defiantly come back to Ballintoy B&B.

Rooms large, with great linens and well stocked with fantastic view. The host, Murdo was awesome, so friendly and helpful. The kitchen under Chef Scott was Michelin 3 star in my book - Fabulous food!

There were sufficient linens, towels, toiletries, making the room comfortable to stay in for a few nights. Food and snacks were provided in the communal area, which were useful for our breakfast. The location is close to the centre of Portree, which was perfect to explore the Isle of Skye. Overall a great experience and would definitely book this place again if we were back in Portree!

Set 13 km from Portree, just 41 km from Talisker Distillery, Seal Cottage offers beachfront accommodation with a garden, a private beach area, a terrace and free WiFi. It was a beautiful spot near the beach. The owner left cereal, milk, and other amenities for breakfast. There was also nice little touches from the owner in the cottage that made it feel homey. The bed was comfortable. Would stay here again.
