Alan contacted us by text day of arrival to confirm time and was the perfect host when we got there. The room was lovely, wonderfully clean and spacious and a view of Peveril Castle! We were given privacy whilst it was made clear we could approach any time for any need. Perfect.

Very friendly staff and manager. Proper pub food in a nice restaurant room and local busy bar next to it. Very good atmosphere overall.

The location was great. The house was beautiful and the rooms were large and comfortable. The hosts are lovely and welcoming.

The George Inn in Castleton provides adults-only accommodation with a restaurant, a bar and a terrace. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and free WiFi throughout the property. Absolutely exceptional! Loved the traditional style of the room and the added extras like biscuits and wine in the fridge!
