The staff was very friendly, the room incredibly clean and the breakfast was nice to start our day with. Our dogs were welcome in the restaurant downstairs, and the food was very good as well! The location is a perfect starting point for beautiful hikes, particularly Mam Tor. We will definitely be back.

Kingscroft is situated in Buxton, less than 1 km from Buxton Opera House, 25 km from Chatsworth House, and 29 km from Capesthorne Hall. Kingscroft is a wonderful place to visit by itself, given the fascinating decor and charismatic hosts. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and the facilities clean. We had a great nights sleep. The pre-ordered breakfasts offered a wide selection of cold and hot breakfast items, highly adjustable to one's preferences. The hosts further provided us with recommendations of local restaurants and activities.

Food in the pub was fabulous we ate there both nights and there was a great and varied selection on the menu. Room was very comfortable and very clean and toiletries smelt amazing! Already looking to book again!

Set within 17 km of Buxton Opera House and 24 km of Chatsworth House in Castleton, Four Seasons Guesthouse offers accommodation with seating area. The room was absolutely gorgeous. Lovely huge bathroom, huge bed and a really comfy sofa. Plenty of wardrobe space. Tea and coffee making. 2 wine glasses and a bottle opener. A refillable glass bottle of cold water in the fridge and a bottle of milk. There were hand soap and shower/shampoo (all refillable) which is great to see rather than individual toiletries. There were guide books in the hallway that you could borrow for walking and cycling. The owner was really welcoming and very accommodating. Beautiful house. Location was perfect.

Stanton House Annex, a property with a garden, is situated in Bakewell, 18 km from Buxton Opera House, 34 km from FlyDSA Arena, as well as 42 km from Alton Towers. The location was great. The house was beautiful and the rooms were large and comfortable. The hosts are lovely and welcoming.
