It was my first hostel in Costa Rica and I hope to find more places like this on my trip! Very nice reception, very nice common areas, lots of bathrooms and showers to use (which are new). When I arrived they explained me a map of the city and helped me to organize my activities to make the best use of my time. My favorites were the yoga area and the hostel pet!

This new hostel is perfect, very clean and quality/price super. The staff are super kind and Derrick and his cousin are so nice and helpful for everything. The room are very spacious with Ac and private bathroom . The dorm are clean and it was divided in tree rooms with 2 beds in each so I felt to be like in a private room because was not full. The kitchen are very clean too and very well organised, with two spacious and clean fridge, and the storage where to put your foods too. I was impressed by the many home appliances available, from the rice cooker, blender, water boiler, coffee machine with coffee for everyone, and in addition you also have salt, tea and other basic things that you could use it. You could have a laundry wash and dry for 8 dollars, not cheap as everything in Costa Rica, but you also have a place and soap where you can wash and hanging your clothes. 10 minutes by walk from the centre in a quiet area with a good restaurant just beside ( a friend tried and he really enjoyed. The common area whit sofa is very nice . 10 minutes from there you have the free spot “il Salto”. I really recommend.

The vibe of the hostel is amazing! It’s this cute blue hostel that has a BEAUTIFUL terrace (with a bar) that lights up at night. I spent my mornings eating breakfast and doing yoga (with the mats they provide) on the terrace. There’s so much space, lot’s of chairs to hang around with other guests, AND an amazing view. They have curtains on the beds!! This is so rare to find in hostels ESPECIALLY at this price. They have lockers IN the room. I love how EACH bed has its own personal fan and outlet. The curtains go all around the bed so it provides a LOT of privacy which is SO nice when staying in a dorm. The bathrooms are really nice and were always clean! Each room has its own bathroom + shower AND they have an extra bathroom with a shower that anyone can use (this was really great when someone was using the shower in the dorm). The kitchen is great; they have everything you need- even a blender! They also provide you with oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper, which I found really convenient and a nice touch. The wifi is great- there’s lots of areas to sit and work. They also have a common area where you can watch Netflix on the tv! The owners and staff are amazing. There are tons of tours to do and they organize it for you. It was a great way to see La Fortuna and meet other travelers, so I highly recommend going on the tours- the hot springs, Rio Celeste, Chocolate Tour, and Night Walk were my favourites. I would HIGHLY recommend this hostel to anyone staying in La Fortuna! The price is incredible for the quality of the hostel. I will definitely visit again :)

I loved this hostel, possibly the best one I stayed at. It’s 10’ walk from the centre, in a quiet area, there’s a river by it and you can chill in hammock by the river, or elsewhere as it has a lot of places for chilling, it even has a gym! The best equipped kitchen with a great storing system, it was clean, it was comfortable It was just really really great and the price is fantastic.

Der Hotelmanager Willson gibt einem haufenweise gute Ratschläge, man kann sich inner an ihn wenden und hilft einem in jeder Situation. Man fühlte sich sofort Wohl, da er trotz seiner Aufmerksamenart überhaupt nicht aufdringlich ist.

The property was very clean, and the rooms were far enough away from the road that the road noise was minimal. the pool area was great, with ample lounges to relax on. The landscaping and trees around the pool and property we beautiful, and attracted lots of colourful birds, and created shade so you could get away from the sun, but still enjoy the outdoors. the Bar/Restaurant was great, cocktails were a good price, and the breakfasts were wonderful.

Great place for families with kids. We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.
