We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.

It was my first hostel in Costa Rica and I hope to find more places like this on my trip! Very nice reception, very nice common areas, lots of bathrooms and showers to use (which are new). When I arrived they explained me a map of the city and helped me to organize my activities to make the best use of my time. My favorites were the yoga area and the hostel pet!

My stay at arenal sloth hostel was amazing! The staff were super friendly, helpful and kind. Jemina is a wonderful person, and does an excellent job. The vibe is super social and I made so many friends here. We shared meals, drinks and so many conversations. The kitchen is super clean and has everything you need. The bed in the dorm was comfy. The whole place was consistently very clean. It's a 10 min walk to town and a 20 min walk to El Salto.

Argdivan Hostel ligger i Fortuna, 4,9 km fra La Fortuna-vandfaldet, og tilbyder indkvartering med have, privat parkering, fælles opholdsstue og terrasse. The vibe of the hostel is amazing! It’s this cute blue hostel that has a BEAUTIFUL terrace (with a bar) that lights up at night. I spent my mornings eating breakfast and doing yoga (with the mats they provide) on the terrace. There’s so much space, lot’s of chairs to hang around with other guests, AND an amazing view. They have curtains on the beds!! This is so rare to find in hostels ESPECIALLY at this price. They have lockers IN the room. I love how EACH bed has its own personal fan and outlet. The curtains go all around the bed so it provides a LOT of privacy which is SO nice when staying in a dorm. The bathrooms are really nice and were always clean! Each room has its own bathroom + shower AND they have an extra bathroom with a shower that anyone can use (this was really great when someone was using the shower in the dorm). The kitchen is great; they have everything you need- even a blender! They also provide you with oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper, which I found really convenient and a nice touch. The wifi is great- there’s lots of areas to sit and work. They also have a common area where you can watch Netflix on the tv! The owners and staff are amazing. There are tons of tours to do and they organize it for you. It was a great way to see La Fortuna and meet other travelers, so I highly recommend going on the tours- the hot springs, Rio Celeste, Chocolate Tour, and Night Walk were my favourites. I would HIGHLY recommend this hostel to anyone staying in La Fortuna! The price is incredible for the quality of the hostel. I will definitely visit again :)

Rio Danta Hostel ligger i Fortuna, 6,4 km fra La Fortuna-vandfaldet. Der er fælles opholdsstue, terrasse og udsigt over floden. I loved this hostel, possibly the best one I stayed at. It’s 10’ walk from the centre, in a quiet area, there’s a river by it and you can chill in hammock by the river, or elsewhere as it has a lot of places for chilling, it even has a gym! The best equipped kitchen with a great storing system, it was clean, it was comfortable It was just really really great and the price is fantastic.

Alpha Arenal ligger i Fortuna, 5,6 km fra La Fortuna-vandfaldet, og tilbyder indkvartering med have, gratis privat parkering og fælles opholdsstue. The owner was marvelous. He gave lots of great recommendations for several activities and does not want to sell tours like lots of others. Just perfect!!! This made our trip perfect and I highly recommend the hostel for everyone who goes to La Fortuna. The rooms were clean and we had a nice balkony to sit outside. It is a great hostel to get to know others.

Arenal Poshpacker ligger i Fortuna og har udendørs swimmingpool, have, terrasse og restaurant. Ejendommen ligger 5,4 km fra La Fortuna-vandfaldet og har bar. Lå meget centralt og personalet var meget hjælpsom med at arrangere ture Skønne hængekøjer hvor der var god internetforbindelse. I nærheden af den lækre restaurant Pollo Fortuneno og en bar med super lækre pinacoladas på den anden side af gaden

Dette vandrehjem ligger blot 3,6 km fra skråningerne på vulkanen Arenal og byder på gratis wi-fi, bagageopbevaring, snackbar og udendørs pool. The property was very clean, and the rooms were far enough away from the road that the road noise was minimal. the pool area was great, with ample lounges to relax on. The landscaping and trees around the pool and property we beautiful, and attracted lots of colourful birds, and created shade so you could get away from the sun, but still enjoy the outdoors. the Bar/Restaurant was great, cocktails were a good price, and the breakfasts were wonderful.
