Offering a restaurant, Cabinas Algebra is located 2.5 km from Cahuita. Situated only 100 metres from Playa Grande beach, it features free WiFi and on-site parking. Wonderful hosts, very comfortable cabina and a beautiful garden.

Boasting barbecue facilities and free WiFi, Kalunai Hostel is located in Puerto Viejo. The property has a garden, as well as a shared lounge. I decided to stay here for 6 days and I’m happy I did. The staff is amazing. So so friendly. They will make you feel very much at home. To me Kalunai has the perfect balance between being fun but not being too much fun ;). I loved the kitchen area where everybody comes together. I cooked at the hostel every night, because I liked the vibe there so much. The location is great. In a quiet area but still close to the center and beach. Very convenient that it’s possible to rent bikes at the hostel. YOU GET CLEAN TOWELS :). It’s very clean in general. Oh and make sure you join in on one of the familie nights for amazing home cooked meals!

Arcari Garden Hostel is located just 400 metres from Tortuguero National Park, just a few steps from the sea shores and features free WiFi access is available in all areas. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is plenty of space with sofas and hammocks if you want to chill for a day. The rooms are good with comfortable beds. We booked all tours at the hostel and not in advance. It worked well and the guide was 10/10. They also arranged transfers.

Calm, pleasant, warm and helpful she made our stay exceptional. The hostel was a joy, wonderful grounds with a resident sloth (Raoul), a number of agouti and most wonderful...the red straberry dart frogs. There are flowers at every corner and the trees and lush vegetation add ambiance and privacy. They have a good system for food storage in the shared kitchen and a nice little pool area.

במקום האירוח Chinitas Eco Lodge יש גינה, טרסה ונוף לאגם, והוא נמצא בטורטוגוארו, במרחק של מספר צעדים מחוף טורטוגרו. בכל החדרים יש פטיו עם נוף לגן. Its more remote compared to tortuguero itself but amazing to stay for 2 days. It is not as crowded as Tortuguero is. And Owen (my guide for the day) was a great guide with really good knowledge and a high interest in animal life and nature
