This place is perfect - it's pristine, smells amazing, has calming music and plenty of spaces to sit, the kitchen has absolutely everything, the rooms are spacious and airy and have AC and hot showers, the staff are kind and helpful.

Offering a restaurant, Cabinas Algebra is located 2.5 km from Cahuita. Situated only 100 metres from Playa Grande beach, it features free WiFi and on-site parking. This was our second stay at Cabinas Algebra, returning after 16 months. I was pleasantly surprised to see the water pressure in the shower was improved. Which, after our first stay, was my only complaint. Now I have no complaints. This property is excellent value. A beautiful paradise in nature, nearby to the beach. The mother and son owners take excellent care of their guests and the on-site restaurant is really good. Highly recommended! We will be back!

The property was great. Perfectly located within the village. Clean room and facilities. Many hammocks around to unwind in. The locals are super friendly. Vicky next door is a real gem! Boasting barbecue facilities and free WiFi, Kalunai Hostel is located in Puerto Viejo. The property has a garden, as well as a shared lounge. Very nice kitchen and common area. Free coffee every morning, best way to start the day! it’s near the center of town, lovely and caring people working there, and good water pressure and hot water!

Arcari Garden Hostel is located just 400 metres from Tortuguero National Park, just a few steps from the sea shores and features free WiFi access is available in all areas. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is plenty of space with sofas and hammocks if you want to chill for a day. The rooms are good with comfortable beds. We booked all tours at the hostel and not in advance. It worked well and the guide was 10/10. They also arranged transfers.

Close to the town, but still quiet in the evening and night time . Clean, cozy and animals everywhere. We had a great time, thank you Tasty Dayz!

Chinitas Eco Lodge อยู่ในตอร์ตูเกโร และอยู่ห่าง Tortuguero Beach ไม่เกิน 0 ม. This place is truly paradise! An authentic eco-lodge run by a lovely local family. This lodge is located in San Francisco which is a neighboring village, a short 5-10 minute boat ride from the main village of Tortuguero. You can take a private boat taxi or catch the local boat service for very cheap. I truly enjoyed staying in San Francisco rather than Tortuguero. The village is much more local, with very few tourists, offering a slower and more authentic local experience. Geraldo, Ana Rita, and Victor made me feel like family during my entire stay. Geraldo was a guide in this area for over 40 years and has so many lovely stories to share about his life here. Ana Rita is the master administrator and lovely matriarch of the family that can help you with booking any tours, boat transfers, or services that you require during your stay. Victor has great energy and prepared beautiful meals for me daily which were healthy, filling, and varied from day to day. I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful lodge for 5 nights. Most people only stay in the area for 2-3 nights but I definitely recommend extending your stay because the local area and lifestyle has so much to offer. During my stay, my room was cleaned daily and the sheets were changed every other day which was a lovely addition I wasn't expecting. Just from the property, I was able to see a variety of different wildlife passing through such as toucans, tiger herons, and a variety of other birds and frogs. I couldn't have asked for a more amazing and tranquil experience. I hope to return once more and spend another week with this lovely family in the future.

It has a great location, near to the beach and main street. Chantal (the owner) is so lovely and Emi, Maxim and Isa are so friendly volunteers that i even ended up playing and hanging out with them haha ✌️:)
