Set in a stone, country-style house, Hotel Rural la Calerilla offers a seasonal outdoor pool surrounded by hammocks and sun loungers. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. A small, affordable, rustic inn with comfortable rooms, great views, friendly staff and a wonderful restaurant. It is on the border of a national park with plenty of hiking and sightseeing and close to several small mountain towns overflowing with history and charisma. The region is Spain's biggest olive oil producer, with orchards as far as you can see and great restaurants throughout.

Nestled in Andalusia’s mountainous countryside and surrounded by forest and with a great outdoor pool and private lake, this rustic retreat is the perfect country getaway. If you want to get away close to nature then this is a good spot. It has a Hunting lodge style with a good restaurant and bar beside a large veranda where you can watch the scenery, have a glass of wine and listen to nature. Rooms are rustic and comfortable. We had a small balcony to let us sit and watch over the valley. Staff are all very nice and cheerful. We had a half board package at a very reasonable price. The menu selection was good as was the food. Portions were very generous. There's a pack of tame geese to provide some entertainment and amusement when they go on parade around the artificial lake. You can travel to local nature spots but we just went on the local walk along the bank of the Guadalquivir. We saw some deer, jays, nutthatch, crossbills and terrapins. We could hear green woodpeckers calling but didn't get a glimpse. We only stayed two nights but there seems to be plenty to see for a longer trip. The views on the drive from Cordoba were pretty spectacular. It's a typical mountain drive with a good surface but a winding road with a long climb. The parking there is fine. We didn't use the pool but it looked good. The drive North along the river towards Murcia is pleasant also. So a very enjoyable stopover.

The Hotel Andalucía is clean and comfortable, and very centrally located in Cazorla. The owners are very nice and make you feel at home. This is an excellent place to stay in Cazorla.

Located in beautiful natural surroundings, beside one of Europe’s most protected natural parks, this hotel has a wonderfully cosy and homely atmosphere with lots of rustic charm. After riding bikes all day to this location, we were thrilled to be welcomed by Maria who graciously helped store our bikes and offered cold drinks from their bar. The sunset view from our room was spectacular and the robes were a luxury after a warm bath! Room service wine and olive delivery were much appreciated and Maria’s suggested wine choice was a winner! Dinner in their restaurant was delicious and our stay was thoroughly enjoyable!
