Boasting stunning views of the Tyrrhenian Sea from its sun terrace, Hotel Arenella is 350 metres from the sandy beach. It offers a free shuttle to/from the Giglio Island Harbour. Great view from terrace, near the sandy beach. The room is small. And free transfer in the port on the island.

Hotel Castello Monticello offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and Giglio Port on the Island of Giglio. Dating back to 1902, it offers elegant rooms and a Mediterranean restaurant. We booked this for a two night stay- and we will be back! The pictures are accurate, it’s gorgeous. Despite being higher up on the island we never felt like this was an issue- walking to the harbour takes barely 10 minutes and the hotel offer a shuttle service to and from the hotel/beaches which was always punctual, just make sure you mention this in advance. You can also rent an electric scooter for a very good price, which we did and it was a great way to get around the island. The staff were fantastic, the facilities are old school Italian but working and in good condition, breakfast is simple but great. Will recommend to others as well.

Big room and bathroom, no frills, perfect for us, low maintenance middle aged couple:). Very clean. Wonderful staff. Breakfast at a local bar is a bonus. We liked everything. I can definitely recommend.
