The staff was so friendly, and the hotel has a great vibe. The building and facilities may be old, but that's really part of its charm. We would come back again for sure.

A 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Yorozuya features hot spring baths, a hot tub and Japanese-style rooms with a private terrace and private bathroom. Best onsen I've ever been to. Beautiful venue. Delicious food

We had a wonderful experience at the ryokan. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the owner was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Akira and Yumi were exceptional hosts, super friendly and polite. The ryokan was even more beautiful than in the pictures. The private onsen was wonderful and we were able to go there whenever we wanted. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. Akira and Yumi were also able to cater for my multiple allergies which amazed me. Our room had a beautiful view overlooking the river. The sound of the white water was relaxing.

A 3-minute walk from Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, Kadowakikan features ski-to-door access, a hot spring bath and free WiFi. I enjoyed everything about this stay. The room was very cozy, and their was an onsen inside the guest house as well. The main thing I wanna point out is the service - Kadowaki-san was such a fantastic host, helping with gear rental, recommendations, and general inquiries. It was very nice to talk to as well and very efficient with Google Translator :D. I was in Japan for 2 weeks, and this was by ease the best place I stayed at. Will definitely be back to this place and highly recommend it.

A great way to finish our Japan holiday. Amazing outdoor onsen that we could use exclusively for a period of time each evening. We enjoyed the kaiseki (dinner) which was also a memorable experience. Being 20 weeks pregnant at the time, I was worried about the futons, but they were so comfy.
