Location, location, location: We had looked for a combination of hotel and winery in walking distance to each other, and this one ticked all the boxes: you can easily walk over to Chateau Tanunda in about 15mins (and others are walkable too, if you don't mind walking 30-40mins). The hotel is part of a pub/restaurant - but the rooms are really surprising: completely new, with a rain shower, quite spacious and quiet (this being a Monday maybe, could be louder on a Friday evening). We also enjoyed the restaurant and a glass of wine on the front porch. There's ample parking in the back. Didn't see any breakfast options, but this was rare on our trip anyways - there's a bakery nearby to help you out.

El Eagle Foundry Bed & Breakfast, construido en 1870, se encuentra en la entrada de la famosa zona vinícola del valle de Barossa y ofrece bañera de hidromasaje, productos de desayuno gratuitos y... We stayed at Thomson suite. When we opened the door, our jaws dropped. It was ten times more beautiful and quirky than we could ever imagine. It had a very artistic touch on everything and every corner, showing the very long history of the place as a foundry. Gorgeous brick walls exposed inside with outstanding skylight, windows, bar, pool, kitchen, woodburner fireplace and ... I was thinking of living there forever. Greg, the host, came to say hi, what a lovely man he is. He generously filled up the fridge for us, more than we could ever eat.

Tanunda's Magpie House, que tiene vistas al jardín, dispone de alojamiento con restaurante y terraza a unos 42 km de Big Rocking Horse. Very well equipped home, comfortable beds and great location - super convenient for wineries plus a great pub across the road. The hosts were also very communicative and made check in/out a super simple process. Our thanks for a lovely weekend!

The meals in the restaurant were delicious and great value, the room was very clean and had a spa bath.

Barossa Weintal Hotel is located in the heart of Australia’s wine country, within walking distance of several wineries and just 1 hour's drive north of Adelaide. This large, one-bedroom apartment was updated to a high-level design with great functionality. It lives like a luxury vacation home. It was one of the nicest apartments I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The common areas were also nicely updated. I wish we had had more time there. I highly recommend this hotel.
