Motel was very clean, staff exceptional. stay was very comfortable. great location, easy to get around. highlight was a trip to Hassan walls lookout. managed to get a taxi up there all the way to the lookout point, absolutely breathtaking views. motel had a secure kids play area, $4 for non members, and you’re given a buzzer and can relax in bar/rest knowing child is safe. child has to ask to leave and you are buzzed to collect them.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Marigold Cottage, A Blue Mountains Oasis- Spacious, Views & Kangaroos is located in Little Hartley. THe property was immaculate. There were extras in the kitchen that made cooking and staying in so much easier. The owner was so easy to deal with.

Zig Zag Motel & Apartments Lithgow features a licensed restaurant, an outdoor heated pool, free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi. We stayed here for 1 night after arriving in the evening. The rooms were clean and the after-hour check-in process was seamless. Zig Zag motel is in the lovely little town of Lithgow and I would highly recommend it for someone looking for a peaceful stay in the Blue Mountains region.

Situated within an Art Deco heritage-listed building, YHA Blue Mountains Katoomba offers a range of rooms, a BBQ area, a games room and an impressive former ballroom with a cosy fireplace. Beautiful heritage art deco building. Very comfortable and warm. Lovely kitchen / dining area. Lovely garden with bbq facilities. Well located on the Main Street walking distance from the train station.

200 meters from Katoomba Train Station, The Carrington offers elegant accommodation in a heritage-listed refurbished manor. Our two days in the Blue Mountains unfortunately fell victim to the Northeaster coming in - visibility was less than 100m, sometimes even the other side of the street seemed foggy and it rained cats and dogs. So we were very happy about this cozy hotel! It is historic and well-preserved (but of course with all modern amenities you need in the rooms). Fun to explore the different rooms, there's a nice bar and somewhere they have hidden away a brewery it seems. Oh, and the dining room... Great - had a good breakfast there (we had enjoyed dinner in the other brewery in town). The room was a bit smaller than expected, but for one night it was ok. It was quiet and we slept very well. There is a new parking garage next to the hotel - only disadvantage is, that you are exposed to the elements when you walk over there.
