A large and very comfortable apartment, It was the second time that I stayed and I will stay again if and when I return to Heraklion. The staff are great. Extremely helpful. The rooms are very clean. This room was beautiful with the comfiest bed we had in Greece. The bathroom was so modern and clean. We had our own private balcony with a view which included sun beds. We were so impressed. The concierge gifted us a bottle of wine for our honeymoon on the rooftop bar.

Located in the heart of Chania, within 450 metres from the Venetian harbour, the modern Samaria Hotel is ideally situated just above the main square, next to the central bus station. Fantastic location, just a five minute walk from the Old Town. There are several bakeries, pharmacies, supermarkets and car rentals right across the hotel. Breakfast was great, with a variety of fresh food. The pool, though small, seemed to be pretty popular. The staff were wonderful. Great, convenient and comfortable stay overall.
