A superb house near Ivalo - we had a fantastic stay! The house is only a 10 minute drive from the airport (€20 by taxi) and a 10 minute drive from Ivalo where there is a large supermarket and other basic facilities. For a wider selection of restaurants and activities, Saariselkä is only a 20 min drive and hence the house is perfectly situated for everything you need, whilst also being super secluded and quiet. We visited in the winter (Dec/Jan) and it was magical in the snow, with the frozen lake making for a beautiful backdrop! When booking I was hesitant with the airport nearby, but with there only being only a few flights a day and it being far enough away, it really didn't cause any disturbance at all - if anything, it was a more of convenience to be nearby. The facilities in the house were great, with everything you'd need for a short and long stay. There was also a fire and sauna which we didn't use, but all was easy to set up if you so wished. The owner was very responsive and replied quickly whenever we had any questions. We were provided with lots of YouTube videos for how to operate everything - very useful! We were also super lucky during our stay, with the Aurora Borealis flowing straight over the house one evening! The frozen lake and open views made for an exceptional viewing of the lights, if you get lucky. We felt like we had our own private display! A once in a lifetime experience which was enhanced by the location of the house and its situation on the lake. Don't hesitate to book, we had a trip of a lifetime here!

An ideal location for a night on the way to the farthest north. Can possibly be a decent base for trips in Lapland too. Easy to find, even though Google Maps doesn't know about it - thanks to the clear instructions from the host. Free parking, a good kitchen, easy check-in process, a warm and cosy room.

Perfect spot to spend a few nights with friends and explore the Ivalo and Inari area. The kitchen is very well-equipped, the living room is cozy and the bedrooms are comfortable. Bed linen and towels are provided. We had an issue with the sauna and the host was very responsive and made her best to resolve the situation as soon as possible. Highly recommend!

Set a 5-minute drive from Ivalo town centre, Ivalo River Camping offers heated cottages with shared kitchen facilities in the summer time, free parking and free WiFi. everything was so cool and comfy!! loved the shower proprietaries so adorable!

It was compacted but had everything we needed. We came back the next night too. It was good to know it just had a microwave. It had a good bed and bathroom with shower.

Located in Ivalo in the Lapland region, Hideaway Cottage provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. The house is very nice. In the middle of the forest, but with other houses in the area. Very close to the center of Ivalo. There are a lot of beds and they are very nice. There is Wifi internet which is not to fast, but enough for checking your email.

Ivalo'da yer alan Aurora Village Ivalo, yataktan Kuzey Işıkları'nı görme imkanı sunan cam çatılı dağ evleriyle hizmet vermektedir. We love everything about Aurora Village! Beautiful property and cozy cabin. We couldn’t see aurora, but we enjoyed looking stars while lying down on the bed. A lady at reception was very helpful for finding activities to attend for us, she also arranged take away breakfast for our early checking-out. There is a forest path on the property. It was like walking a winter wonderland!! It’s a very quiet and peaceful place. I highly recommend anyone who is planning to go to Lapland.

This Finnish Lapland holiday village is situated right by the Ivalo River. It offers double rooms, holiday cottages, a caravan area, summer cottages and a camping area. Great locations and awesome service Food was great.
