Left early at 4 am - so no breakfast, I am sure it would have been perfect - when everything is so surprisingly fine and unique you do not pay attention like you would regarding run-of-the-mill accommodation. As said by so many satisfied guests already the real attraction of this accommodation is Mr Dimitris, the owner, the museum director, the waiter, the interesting discussion partner with excellent sense of humor interspersed with deep reflections and thoughts and most of all going out of the way to serve you beyond the normal. Example , in the middle of the night 4 pm he ordered the taxi and followed us to the airport (of course he was going to Athens himself to cast his vote) Thank you Mr Dimitris !

El Kathiana cozy apartment ofrece vistas al jardín y alojamiento con jardín y balcón a unos 10 km de la Casa Museo de Eleftherios Venizelos. This place is away from the hustle of Chania so it is fairly quiet but the only problem is that at night there is some noise of the airplane but that doesn’t really affect me. You can see planes up close from a fantastic view near the kitchen which heavily outweighs the noise. When we got there we were shocked at the cleanliness. No dirt anywhere no waste it was fully clean. The TV also has Netflix where we watched movies every night for a week, it was really fun. The owner is nice and you also get free airport shuttle. If you are going to stay here, I recommend you hire a car because it is a little away from the city. Overall, I would really recommend this place and I would love to come again. Thanks.

Michael had surely been the highlight of our staying at Casa Magnolia, besides the beautiful property. An amazing friendly welcoming and generous guy. He offered the ultimate Cretan hospitability and assisted in everything. Transportation, information, guiding and any other assistance we might have needed. He surely exceeded our expectations. The property is nearly new, modern, spacious and has all the amenities required. It will suit a big family's needs and can even accomodate a group of friends. Would definitely go back and can recommend it blind eyed to anyone that would like to base his holidays around Chania and even Western Crete.
