The cottages are right on the beach with a great dock. You'll enjoy the amazing ocean view and gorgeous sunsets. Bring your snorkeling gear because you can easily swim from the dock to the reefs. There, you can see angel fish, grouper, puffer fish, gentle nurse sharks, and so much more! The cottages are only a 15-minute walk to the town of Mango Bight, where you will find delicious local restaurants, including Patsy's Place and Mimi's. Sea Mart is the central market and has everything you will need (groceries and supplies). Jenina is the owner and super friendly. You will definitely want to meet her! If you'd like to go fishing, snorkeling, or take a tour of the island by boat, Kessel and Ray will take great care of you. They are both locals, so they know the best places to take you! Guanaja Backpackers Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Guanaja. Fantastic place. Lisa pick us up from the port and help to get to the hostel. There is an outdoor shower(also indor). Cute dogs and cats are around the place. You can rent a kayak and snorkel and get to the deserted island. In the morning You can get a coffe. I recommend this place. We stayed only for two nights but next time we would like to stay for a week. Guanaja island is magical itself.

We enjoyed our stay at the Camp Bay Lodge very much. The entire staff made us feel welcome without being too pushy. Our room was so cozy and relaxing, and was beautifully constructed. The property is awesome - comfortable, built into the beach, but without the overbuilt resort vibe. Every meal and drink we had was great, and we left wishing we didn't have to. We'll definitely return here if we make it back to Roatan.
