First, the cottage is a 9-minute flat walk from the Kerry Airport. It is back from the road and quiet for morning breakfast in the garden. The train station, grocery, and a pub with reasonably priced food is a 10-minute flat walk away. Finally and not the least important, I want you to know that Pat Kennedy can beat GOOGLE every time! He knows Kerry so well and was amazing in making our visit the BEST! We saw sights we would not have known to see.

There were so many things to love about this property. it was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed to prepare some meals instead of eating out every day. Having access to a clothes line was to dry the washing was very much appreciated. Marie was very helpful and a lovely lady. It was only a short drive into Killarney but worth it to stay in such a characterful place.

The house is beautiful, exactly as the photos, very spacious and very welcoming. Helena the host even bought milk,bread and some cakes for us! So very kind. We would highly recommend the house and would certainly book it again if we go back to Kerry.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to the River Brown Flesk, Woodlands House is the closest B&B to Kerry Airport and offers a free shuttle service. The host was very kind and welcoming. The location is a couple of turns off the beaten track, but we had no problems finding it. Lovely breakfast!
