This house is just adorable and I really couldn’t understand some negatif comments after staying 4 nights here. The house is a typical small wine cellar (adega) made with volcanic stones, it is very cute and photogenic. It has a terrace with a big table where you can watch the sunset on one side and Pico on the other side while drinking a nice Pico wine. there is another half closed terrace again with a big table where you can make barbecue and enjoy the views. Then in the house there is everything one can need. we prepared full meals without any issue. And the “welcome basket” from the owner is not just a small courtesy gift, it’s like he actually went shopping for us! we had everything needed for the breakfasts (for 4 days) already provided, cheese, yogurts, fruits, biscuits, coffee, tea etc…Overall the experience was incredible, an island like Pico deserves a typical and magical stay like this one. Oh and there was sardine festival in the village when we where there, there was music, very nice people, beer and wine 1 Euro and fresh sardines for free!!

You can easily enjoy this place as if it was your home, and from there start to explore the rest of the island or the neighbouring islands as well.

O Farrobo ligger i Madalena och har trädgårdsutsikt, en restaurang, en bar, en trädgård, en terrass och rumsservice. Både WiFi och privat parkering finns på O Farrobo utan extra kostnad. Andreia and Miguel are very friendly and helpful hosts. The food they Serve is very good.

Paraíso do Triângulo erbjuder boende med utsikt över havet och bergen i Lajido på ön Pico i Azorerna. Till Picos flygplats är det 4 km och WiFi är gratis. Claudio was fantastic. He helped us find a rental car and provided us with some local wine/food as a welcome gift. There were bikes to use at the location which was an unexpected plus.

Azores Wine Company ligger i Cais do Mourato och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi. Som gäst har du tillgång till en trädgård, en terrass och en restaurang. Fantastic view across the vineyards and down to the sea, clean and modern rooms, good breakfast. Great wine :) The dining experience we had here was incredible and definitely part of the Azores Wine Company experience - can’t recommend this enough. The tasting was also great fun, and the staff of course were very knowledgable about their wine and the history of winemaking in Pico.
