The electricity cuts are at fixed times and only during the night, so you plan for that. The views are stunning beyond words, as are the birds and flowers/fauna. Also the street dogs are very friendly and are looked after.

Situated in Santo António, 15 km from Zona Ecologica Principe Ecological Zone, Residencial Brigada features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This is a great little place. The room with private bathroom is good, the aircon is good, breakfast is very good, worth the price, Carlos is a very nice host who goes the extra mile to make your trip comfortable; organising boattrips, excursions on the island, airport transfer or even sometimes cooking a meal in the evening if he has the time. Highly recommended!

Answered promptly any questions, helped me get in contact with a great local guide,Joaquim,to show me around the island and was always available in case you needed anything. I highly recommend Valdivia Homes for anyone traveling to Principe island.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Hotel Roça Sundy is a country house situated in a historic building in Santo António, 23 km from Zona Ecologica Principe Ecological Zone. Fantastic stay at Roca Sundy. We had a room in the new wing and it was great. Highlights are the tours (especially with the boat) and the delicious food which was amazing and even better than what we would have expected. The music on some evenings made dinner even more special.
