The host: a very kind and welcoming lady who helped us on our way multiple times. This hospitality was also reflected in all common areas, which were breathing a cozy 'welcome home'-atmosphere. I would most definitely book here again.

Salpalinjan Hovi ligger i en charmerende, renoveret skolebygning, 10 minutters kørsel fra Lappeenranta centrum. The flats are designed very tastefully, with an artist touch. This makes the stay very enjoyable. The house is has historic value (a previous school) and is located on the defense line (during II Word War) against Soviet Union. Thus there is historic spots to see.

Has block out curtains & mosquito screens on windows which is very important in the summer & we found many accommodations don’t have these.
