A super location for us, very close to the beach but also easy access to walks and hills. Apartment was in good order and very comfortable. Situated in Funchal, 1.3 km from Almirante Reis Beach and 300 metres from the centre, Social Lodge - Happiness features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a terrace. Excellent stay!! Location: perfect. 2 min from airport bus stop and la vie mall which has Pingo Doche supermarket . 1 min to SAM bus terminal. As we didn’t rent a car, it was perfect taking bus to places we wanted ( or transport pick up services to hiking)5 min to promenade and 15 min to old town. Unit 3A: our unit is big and kitchen has everything we need that we cooked most of our meals during our 8 days stay. Bring all herbs/oil/salt/pepper with you if you don’t want to buy at supermarket. There are 3 dolce gusto capsules and 3 tea bags. Dish detergent/capsules and shower gels. Extra towels and bedsheets in the closet in case we needed them. There is a car/motercycle rental next door if you want to rent a car. Communication is perfect with whatsapp and instructions via video. Overall we had a great stay and wish we could stay longer!

The location was perfect, loads of restaurants and bars close by, there is also a swimming complex 2 minutes walk away. The on site parking was really handy, also if you don't have a car and are relying on tours etc, this location is a great option. The rooftop pool was stunning, it was bliss having drinks up there at night looking at the stars. Our stay was absolutely perfect and I would highly recommend staying here. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. The host was super helpful and even organised a last minute airport transfer for us. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer.

It is in a great location, little compact flat. Communication with the host was easy and check in and check out also efficient and easy.

Dona I Apartments at Botanical Garden features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Funchal, 1.9 km from Almirante Reis Beach. I don't know where to start except - Andreina and Alex, thank you! You are the best host I've ever had. Communication with Andreina was great! She was available 24/7 and allowed us quite early check in and also on the check out day we left our baggage until 7 pm in the apartment. Alex welcomed us at the apartment, showed us around, gave many tips and tricks and also was always around if needed help for anything. It's so rare these days that hosts welcome you on your arrival. Apartment was everything we hoped for. Clean, spacious, with enogh towels, toiletries (even makeup remover wipes!) and with great views over the city! Parking sport is very covenient, free and you approach it from the steep road but nothing to be worry about. Location is great for driving around island as it's close to exit for Via Rapida and also is short drive to the Funchal centre. I highly recommend you to book your stay here as I will, for sure, be back over and over again!
