Dario is the most wonderful host a foreign traveler could ever wish for! He went out of his way to make us as comfortable as possible, to help us learn how to get around, and his English was nearly perfect! (One of us would have liked to try to speak more Italian actually, but Dario took great pride in his effort to learn English -- and it was far better than our Italian -- so most of our conversations followed the path of least resistance.). He has a great smile and warm demeanor; he made our short stay in Mondello delightful.

Our hosts and their daughters are the most friendly and welcoming family you can imagine. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The place is even more beautiful than in the pictures. The private beach beautiful swimming pool in combination with only a 30 min electric scooter ride to Palermo we thought was the ultimate combination to both relax and enjoy the beautiful culture that Sicily Palermo has to offer. We plan to come back with our extended family this Spring. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house that was decorated wonderfully with flowers, lights, and gorgeous seating areas to eat breakfast and take pictures. Had a full bathroom, living area, and bedroom for two people! Alessandra was so sweet and helpful to all the questions we had and even arranged a private shuttle for us to and from the airport. House is a two minute walk from the beach.

Da Sophie was very clean and the facilities and equipment were like home from home. The roof terrace was ideal for evening meals and chilling with our friends and the garden was lovely for enjoying breakfast. The kitchen was well equipped as was the crest of Da Sophie. We had a wonderful stay there.

This will be a long one, but for a good reason, read all the way through! This booking is a hidden gem, it should have some special highlight to let people know how great it is to stay here. Location: There is really not much to say other than you literally walk down the street where after about 5min you will reach the beach and a nice bakery/gelateria to have a coffee and a quick breakfast while looking at the beach. Appartment: The place is very clean and kept in shape, with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom tucked in a corner of the owner's property with a patio space that has a little table in the shade of the trees, a perfect spot that you wouldn't want to leave. Something that is not advertised is that the host provides beach towels, a beach bag, an umbrella and 2 bicycles all at your disposal free of charge, a very nice surprise which just makes all of the above feel even better. Great place, everything in the apartment works with a special mention of the coffee machine, a perfect espresso to start the day. I didn't see a single flaw, it has all that a person or a couple would need. The host: For sure, the host is the best thing about this booking. Dario was very welcoming even a week before we arrived, offering us a ride from the airport for half a price of the taxi you won't find a better option than this! He gave us the option to leave our luggage at the place since we were supposed to arive much earlier than our check in time. Once we got there, we were welcomed by the sweetest lady Claudia, a person you would think is yours and everyone's grandma and on top of that she speaks English. She was the one who showed us around and shocked us with all the things provided with the place that I mentioned above. They also gave as a little booklet with places to visit and restaurant to go to.
