I've never been more welcomed anywhere in my 7 years of traveling as I was at Bongs. They are a very genuine and caring family. It's right at the peer. It's a hotspot for the locals and local business owners. It's not a luxury spot by any means, but their service, their food and their hospitality is excellent. I will surely visit again. Everything was amazing, staff were super friendly, the tent was great so comfortable and the little fans at night made such a difference. We loved waking up on the beach! Highly recommend anyone coming here to walk over to sunset beach and stay here, the walk isn't too bad at all! Just make sure you get the right ferry to the island as it makes the walk a lot shorter. 100% will be back 😃

Ellen made us feel at home immediately. We felt so comfortable here in her beautiful property. The rooms are lovely, clean, and cool with the over head fan. The property also has a great balcony with hammock and view over the village. Ellen gave us great advice on what to do and where to eat in the bay as the food there is excellent. We didn’t want to leave.

Nice place à bit away from the bar musics, to be in a peaceful place. The owner is very friendly and fluent in ebglish, always available to answer to all your questions and help you! Perfect stay to chill on the beach, snorkeling and see biolulinescent plankton!

Our Sunny Bungalow was exactly as we had hoped: a simple wooden hut, with a relaxing veranda, hidden among lush vegetation. We certainly weren't expecting luxury and that's probably why we found our bungalow surprisingly comfortable. Bedroom was very spacious and clean, having al the essential basics we needed for our budget beach holiday. Yes, all what’s written in other reviews about the room’s not completely closed is true, but that's what characterizes (and what we like so much about) this type of accommodation. Just don’t keep food in your bungalow and you’ll have absolutely no problem with the local wildlife. Bathroom was huge and very clean as well. Ánd made of stone, so more privacy (noise) and no walk-in/fly-in insects. It was very windy on Saracen Beach when we were there, but since the bungalows were in the backyard of the beachside café we were able to enjoy our veranda without wind. That was really nice. Service was super friendly and attentive. Dimang and his staff were always available for information and help. We were 100% happy that we chose to stay at Sunny Bungalows and would definitely book this place again on a future visit.

We spent just one night at this hotel, but it was enough to appreciate its charms. Our bungalow was comfortable, clean, and nestled in a wonderfully quiet location. It's the kind of place where you could easily imagine staying longer for a peaceful retreat.

Mela and Ian are excellent hosts, very sweet and attentive. The guesthouse is located on a quieter part of the village but still very close to the beach and everything else around. The rooms are simple, yet very comfortable. They serve some amazing dumplings, some of the best that I have ever eaten, and they are also very cheap. I've really enjoyed my stay and am looking forward to come back someday.
