My wife and I spent a few nights here but it was some of the best nights we’ve had in a hotel. I’ll start with the hospitality and warmth of the hosts here: we had a flight delay and ended up arriving a day after we were meant to, but they were kind enough to offer us a free night. The manager Laye was super helpful in getting my wife's delayed luggage back, showing us the city and made our stay infinitely better than it would have been. The hotel in itself is a beauty, the decor is so lovely and well thought of, everything just works! The complimentary breakfast as well is an experience. I’d recommend MIMA any day anytime, an easy 5 stars for me.

The location was perfect, just up from the beach. We loved the enclosed patio/garden and the breakfasts were excellent. The AC welcome in the heat. Our host Ricky and his staff were welcoming and kind. Ricky arranged a tour for us for Bandia which was better than we were able to find on our own.

Facilities were good. Aircon available. All basic amenities available. Staff was great. Mame who manages the building is a great asset. Rooftop pool is a very cool touch.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was staying there just one night cause I had a long layover and I got sick in the morning. The staff were helpful getting me the meds I need. I also got locked out of my room (poor thinking on my part but I was sick) and they were again very helpful and mindful of my condition and helped me quickly get access to my room again to be able to leave in time for the airport. Lovely people.
