Casa Luce is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Puerto Viejo near Negra Beach. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. This property was one of the best we have stayed in! The owners were super helpful and friendly, the place itself was very cosy, clean, quiet and serene. They had a very lovely dog called Luna who loved a tummy rub! The place is small and there are 3 cabins in total. This made it social in a nice way and we chatted to the other guests and it was just a really nice and calm place to be. The nature surrounding the property was lovely too! There was also a well equipped kitchen (we cooked in twice) and unlimited drinking water which was a nice touch. The rooms were very clean, cosy and they had really good air-con (which was needed as it was very hot when we stayed!)

Cahuita Apartment by Angie offers accommodations in Cahuita, a 5-minute walk from Blanca and half a mile from Negra. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the apartment free of charge. I loved my stay!! Angie and her daughter Anielka were extremely responsive and attentive! Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!

Apartamentos Caimán Tortuguero is located in Tortuguero. A fridge and kettle are also available. National Park is just 100metres from the country house. It was so nice to live in a small neighborhood instead of a tourist resort! Carlos, the host, was a wonderful help with any arrangements we needed. The apartment was spotless. We are going back to stay there again!

There are only 4 units and we had the 2 bedroom unit on the backside with a balcony and an open living area and kitchen. It is located within walking distance to nearby restaurants, stores, and bike rentals. There is good wifi and we were able to communicate via Whatsapp regarding any questions or issues. We rented motor bikes and were able to secure them within our gated unit. La Peco Nera restaurant on site had some of the best service and food. Our hosts during our stay were very welcoming. And lastly, we had very hot water.
