The restaurant had a variety of delicious Ecuadorian dishes and well priced, very friendly staff.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, La Caleta is set in Mompiche, 50 metres from Mompiche Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a patio. Amazing place and amazing owners!! You can hear the waves while you sleep. Located right in the middle of Mompiche. The owner was extremely accommodating, helpful and made you feel very welcome. He helped me with everything from surfboard rental to bus schedules to and from Mompiche. Only place I’ve been to in Ecuador with a mosquito net around the bed which I appreciate. Can’t beat the price and I’ll definitely be staying here again when I come back to surf the point 🤙
