The building itself has a very interesting history as it used to be a school in the past. We enjoyed staying there very much and miss the place and Puoalanka. The bed was very comfortable, and the place was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with silverware, cookware, kitchen appliances, and basic pantry items. Towels and linen, as well as toiletries are all provided. The sauna also works perfectly, and had a convenient access to the patio for a cool down in the snow. Finally, the location was unbeatable as it was only a couple of minutes from the Olavinlinna castle, the city center, and walking trails on the islands.
