We had just finished our 3 day hike from Xela and you could tell he was even trying to make sure the room was ready asap for us. He even prints out a little sign welcoming you which is such a nice touch. The terrace is lovely and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is just a short walk out of town and has a more local feel.

This makes it much calmer and less noisy - The weekend /weekday markets are across the street. You got a bit of an additional authenticity through those (plus you can easily buy delicious fruits) - The owner was extremely helpful with answering all of our questions about the place, the neighborhood and the town - We were also allowed to check out in the afternoon which was a huge help for us (by not having to spend hours in the summer heat while waiting for our shuttle)

You could actually walk out of the room and get into the lake in just mere seconds. The room was clean and tidy. The owner was to put it simply, one of the best human beings I've ever had the pleasure to meet

Great place on the lake, with beautiful sunsets and nice amenities. The host, Fernando, is extremely friendly and helpful any time we needed. He even got up to help us get a boat at 6am! We very highly recommend staying in this peaceful house across the lake!

Rustic Charm and Breathtaking Views bevindt zich in Santa Cruz La Laguna in de regio Solola, en heeft een balkon en uitzicht op de tuin. Beautiful view and location in a nice area on Lake Atitlan. Clemens was a great host and assisted in arranging private lanchas for arrival and departure. The kitchen facilities are nice to have and it is good to follow the suggestion to buy groceries in Panajachel before coming to the house. It is a very private location. Especially enjoyed the hammock and watching sunrises and sunsets from the porch.

Wish we had stayed longer than 3 days.
