Featuring a garden and free WiFi, Uisce Beatha House B&B features accommodation 10 km from Portmagee. The rooms at the bed and breakfast offer a TV. What a sweet night spent in this lovely little bedroom (the twin one) which is very comfortable and tastefully decorated! Everything is made to let us cocooning and calmly resting in it. We have found the same atmosphere during the breakfast facing the sea: delicious fresh and organic products, eggs directly from the coop and warm and friendly welcome from Maureen and Pete. We had to leave but it was reluctantly... we'll definitely come back. We really recommend this B&B in Kerry... don't hesitate to stay there! Boasting a balcony with mountain views, a garden and a bar, Eilymaes can be found in Portmagee, close to Skellig Experience Centre and 16 km from O'Connell Memorial Church. Good location and helpful host.

Featuring accommodation with a saltwater pool, mountain view and a patio, John Morgans House is located in Portmagee. Location and the shower was very hot. Clean and suited our needs. The history of the house was interesting.

Featuring a Thai restaurant and tearooms, the Kells Bay House is set on 40 acres of unique gardens with subtropical plants. We stayed here two nights and enjoyed every minute. The house has a great atmosphere and the well designed and furnished rooms were very comfortable with sea views and great bathrooms. We could use the lounge sitting room in the evenings, had perfect breakfast and a wonderful Thai dinner. The gardens are indescribable. They are so beautiful with water features, cute meadows, wonderfully carved and large dinosaurs, creeks, a waterfall and many moss covered trees. The walkways are well laced out for great strolls. Most splendid are the numerous fern trees of different heights and ages. The landscaping towards the bay is newly designed and offers great views and plants to enjoy. One would never expect this tropical paradise in this wonderful bay on the Ring of Kerry. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, as well as the owner. One simply has to stay there for a few nights. Wishing them all further success with all their projects. We all want to come back.

Overlooking the fishing village of Portmagee, this Valentia stone house enjoys views of the sea, islands and Kerry Mountains. It offers large rooms with sea views and free Wi-Fi. Comfy country home with a super friendly welcome. Short walk across the bridge to Portmagee and a great meal at The Moorings. This is a great base if you’re visiting the Skellig Islands. Be sure to allow time to explore Valentia Island, too. Frances gave us a great map with all the highlights (skip St. Brandon’s Well but definitely visit the Fogher Cliffs and the Slate Quarry). Continental breakfast was provided. The views are amazing and there is a lovely outdoor area for guests.
