The owners were friendly and helpful. Pool surrounded by coconut trees and you can watch as the fearless coconut man climbs a tree and shimmies across the ropes from one tree to another placing pots to collect the toddy. We were given drinks to try .. delicious the food was good too especially the coconut honey . Great place to relax away from everything . The cabin was huge with seating area inside and outside to watch the squirrels running around .

We stayed as a couple for 11 days in this beautiful cottage 1 minute from the beach. It is so quiet and you can relax and retreat very well. There is also a whale skeleton and several beaches are within walking distance. It is also a kitesurfing paradise and there are many donkeys here. You can easily cater for yourself, but there are also several restaurants nearby. The owners are next door and are happy to help at every opportunity. We would come back any time. :-)

O Dune Towers é uma pousada recentemente renovada em Alankuda, onde você pode aproveitar ao máximo sua área de praia privativa e jardim. It is like a castle nestled between the dunes and coconut groves! Probably the best stay I have had in Sri Lanka!! Everything is super clean and the furniture, building and linens are brand new! The location is perfect to get away from it all! I practice daily yoga and meditation and it was wonderful they let me use the panoramic roof terrace to welcome the sunrise!

Totally exceeded our expectations! Even better than the photos and super friendly people treat you just like family. Such a clan and nicely decorated place and super comfortable beds, comforter and fluffy pillows on a soft bed. just what we needed! Also about as close as you can get to the rickshaw run start line so was a super location for us. No hot water but we didn’t even miss it.
