Just what I was needing :) Also Rafa the owner showed me around which I appreciated a lot, and they helped me find a reasonably priced taxi !

It is a special place. Maybe not for everyone, but for us was really good. We staid right on the edge of the lake. We always heard the waves. The cabin is equipped with all you need. Göl manzaralı Rosa's Lake Cabins, Maderas Yanardağı'na yaklaşık 3,7 km mesafede verandalı konaklama birimleri sunmaktadır. Amazing place!! The family is so nice and made us feel super welcome. The place is idyllic: it's quite far from restaurants and stuff, but the secludeness of the place is what makes it so incredible. The cabins are very cute with a nice terrace. Facilities are okay: it's fine but not luxurious. There are lots of insects on Ometepe, so also at Rosa's Lake Cabins. I recommend renting a motorbike, because buses aren't frequent. The family is very helpful in many ways: recommending restaurants, arranging tours etc. They can also do your laundry. All in all, really a fantastic stay if you want to go off the beaten track!

Popoyo'da, Salinas'a 2,8 kilometre mesafede yer alan Red Pepper Popoyo Guesthouse, plaja sadece 50 metre mesafede çatı terası ve deniz manzarası sunmaktadır. We LOVED Red Pepper! We originally booked for 10 days and ended up staying for 20. Mark and Mariken were wonderful, and were so generous with their time and knowledge of the area. We loved having the peace and quiet of our private rooftop. After travelling for 8 months, Red Pepper was the first place we extended our stay—twice! The Monday curry and Wednesday noodles can’t be beat. We cooked almost all of our meals except Monday and Wednesdays because we loved Marks cooking so much. We opted to rent an additional fan to help keep us cool at night. It’s about a 15 minute walk to Finca, where you can rent boards and surf the Popoyo break, and about 25min to Beginners Bay. We enjoyed the walk as a warm-up for surfing!

Well ‘off the beaten path’ for folks who need minimal creature comforts aside from a comfortable bed and beautiful surroundings. Well maintained bungalows raised up over the finca. Incredible and private outdoor showers. Delfa is not only amazing but incredibly patient if you have limited to no Spanish. She’s also an amazing chef who makes beautiful vegetarian dishes from scratch.
