Set in Kaikoura, less than 1 km from Kaikoura Beach, Mondello Kaikoura provides accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. Great location. The room had a mountain view and on the first floor. The apartment had 2 rooms. The main guest room had a double bed, kitchen area and a dinner table. The room had a big TV with satellite channels. The other room was a bedroom with two single beds and a TV. All the beds were soft and comfy. The place was very well maintained. The bathroom was neat and clean. There is a guest laundry available onsite. The host were very informative. We are a family of 3 and found the place very comfortable during our stay of 3 days.

Featuring quiet street views, Amberlea Cottages features accommodation with balcony, around 1.1 km from Hokitika Beach. It was 4 small family maintained units. We stayed only one night as were passing through to Queenstown. The hosts were very friendly. We left behind our son's bag. Sharyn (host) was kind enough to post it to our next destination. Beautiful location, carters Beach seems mostly undiscovered, you can walk for miles and barely see other people. The owners were friendly and welcoming. You could just see the ocean from the room and could hear the surf.
