It is very calm around, no city fuss, we really rested our souls. Picturesque places nearby. It was possible to negotiate with the owner about the boat to the islands Amantani/Takile. And the alpaca lives here too!

Localizado em Puno, perto do Porto de Puno, do Calçadão Bahia de los Incas e do Parque Pino, o Maya Inn dispõe de terraço. I was warmly greeted on arrival by the kind lady at reception and shown to my room. The room was much larger than expected, very clean and really good value for money. I had an early boat trip booked for the next morning and they offered to prepare breakfast earlier for me. It’s the little things like this that really go along way when you are travelling. The property is a short walk away from the lake and the main square so perfect location to see/do everything you need to while in Puno.

Alberto is the perfect host and his Lakeside home with the best view is more than beautiful 😍 He picked us up in his car from Juli and gave us the best advice for our stay! We had a magical night under the stars and a wonderful homecooked breakfast in the morning 🙏🏻 I hope we are lucky enough to visit again in the future!
