Situated in Moalboal, Bernis Hostel features accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Room has everything you need, fridge, safety box, AC, Fan, table, chair etc… and a good size. Pool and terrace area outside are nice so you can also sit outside, especially in the evening when it cools down. Owners of the place are very kind and fair people. Booked tours and a scooter with them, they charge you exactly the same price as in town. Gave good tips whenever I had a question, very approachable.

The food is exceptional, on a three night stay my wife and I were served freshly prepared evening meals not only based on local cuisine but also that of Thailand, China, Italy and even Sweden ! Breakfasts were also of a high standard again providing a wide range of options. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with quality bathroom fittings and a good shower. The private beach is kept pristine by daily beach combing, although it has to be said that early in the year the adjacent coastline suffers from seaweed and plastic debris brought in by the prevailing currents. At low tide the extensive tidal lagoons and sand bars provide for a great recreation, just strolling in crystal clear warm waters through meadows of sea grass, looking for exotic sea shells or watching the antics of the tiny blue sand crabs. If you are looking for a small quiet “out of town” retreat on Bantayan, with friendly staff look no further than the Maykenn Beach Resort. PS for a whistle stop tour of other delights on Bantayan the road tour is not to be missed.

200 metres from Basdiot Beach, Ananas Guesthouse is a recently renovated property located in Moalboal and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. very nice, clean and quite place. the staff is very friendly and the position is really good

The beds were super comfortable, the shower hot, the staff is great, friendly and very helpful with good recommondations. We extended our stay to make our PADI open water certificate at Cebu Fun Divers which is really close by (3min by motorbike or free pickup by Cebu Fun Divers).

Featuring a garden and views of sea, Ancelle Cristo Re is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Moalboal, a few steps from Basdiot Beach. Where to start.. this was the best place I have booked a stay at. The pictures do not do it justice. A beautiful villa by the beach with such a beautiful story. Thank you so much sister Theresa for hosting us. Will definitely recommend it to everyone I know and will hopefully be back someday !

Located in Moalboal, 300 metres from Panagsama Beach, Roos Guesthouse has a garden and a terrace. It also features a a bar and a seating/lounge area. We liked our spent in Roos guesthouse very much. Owners are very helpful and we got to know lot about Philippines to continue our journey. Place itself was not on the main street but very near which was advantage for us because it wasn't so noisy at night. Definately will reccomend this place.
