It is the perfect place for a family stay. The house had everything we needed to cook the food, both inside and outside. It is a quite place with a fantastic view over the vineyards and the river. Our kid enjoyed the pool area, especially when the lovely donkey Nikita came by :) The territory is well kept and the staff is polite (and even easy and interesting to speak with even if you don't speak Portuguese). We loved watching the river cruise boats go past too! It is a remote and very peaceful location which was exactly what we were looking for. Lovely sandy beach below the house. Awoken to cockerels and sheep bells tinkling! A rural idyll. Shops & supermarkets in Cinfaes only 10 to 15 min drive away.
