The guest house is within easy access of the town and we were recommended to go and see the Basilica, which I'm glad we did as that was very impressive. The property itself provides a unique place to stay when visiting Nazareth - it was previously the family carpentry shop which was converted to a boutique hotel, and the stonework, arches and design are like nothing you would ever see in a typical hotel. The breakfast here is amazing - authentic cuisine including pita, olives, yogurt, pastry, vegetables, salads, cheese, omelettes....all lovingly prepared by Bassam's mother, Abir. Top this off with Nazarene cardamom infused coffee and you have a great start to your day in this beautiful city! The hotel also offers cooking lessons for groups (booking ahead required).
