Situated in Shanklin, near Shanklin Beach, Appley Lodge is a historic bed and breakfast that has a garden. It is set 15 km from Blackgang Chine and features luggage storage space. Appley is a nice family-led B&B in the hear of Shanklin. Basically all sights and the beach are just 5 minutes walk away (and a lift, in case of the beach). The owners are absolutely lovely and were just the best possible hosts to have. The cooked breakfast was the best we ever had - and we did stay in about 10 other B&Bs just on that vacation. Appley alone is a reason to return to the Isle of Wight, really.

Offering a garden and garden view, Stroud House is set in Freshwater, 20 km from Blackgang Chine and 26 km from Osborne House. This was one of the most delightful BnB’s I have ever stayed at. Perfectly located in Freshwater along the round-the-island cycle route, we stayed overnight on a cycling weekend away! Sarah was a fabulous host who has thought of everything. The room is so comfortable with plush bedding, a cute seating area, well appointed and spacious bathroom, and windows overlooking the garden. There was a safe garage to store our bikes overnight. Breakfast was served in the sun filled conservatory - muesli, fruits, yogurt and a vegetarian shakshouka! Beautiful old doggy Pim was the cherry on top. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Martlets B&B in Shanklin provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The breakfast was lovely. Jill was lovely and her puppy Jess was very cute.

Goshens Farm B&B, a property with a garden, is situated in Wootton, 6.9 km from Osborne House, 19 km from Blackgang Chine, as well as 4.2 km from Robin Hill. This would have to be one of the best B&Bs with really friendly staff, good food and lovely surroundings. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Close to Newport and several local attractions.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Chine Side is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Shanklin, 500 metres from Shanklin Beach. Great location. Quiet location with a 2 minute walk to the main road. Room was a decent size and extremely well furnished. Everything was finished to a high degree of standard. Bathroom was large and the water pressure was great. Breakfast was very nice and varied during our stay. There seem to be only 3 rooms at the property so everything was personalized.

Number 29 - Only Adults is located in Shanklin, 650 metres from the beach. This place is an absolute gem. We stayed for four nights in a room that was impeccably designed and maintained, with turndown service every day and little touches such as fresh milk in the fridge for coffee, as well as homemade cake on arrival. Breakfast was delicious, cooked to order by Luke, with many different options. Chris and Luke are amazing people- kind, thoughtful, and always considerate. I really cannot rate their B n B highly enough. I am not surprised at all that they book up quickly.

Grange Bank House offers pet-friendly accommodation in Shanklin. Guests benefit from free WiFi throughout and free private parking. The property also offers discounted ferry tickets upon request. The owners (Pete and Warren) think about the guests, and I could see that in everything - the house, room, services, and breakfast. They were very caring, friendly, and kind and made me feel at home. My dog was very excited and noisy in the breakfast room, had a toilet accident, and got sick, but they were very understanding. Not many places allow dogs in the eating area, so it was nice. The room was super clean and comfortable, I definitely come back for my next visit to IoW!

Bedford Lodge, a property with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge, is situated in Shanklin, 500 metres from Shanklin Beach, 15 km from Blackgang Chine, as well as 19 km from Osborne House. Very friendly and informative landlady. Lovely light breakfast room and great breakfasts. Comfortable bedroom. Super location to explore Old Shanklin and access to the beach and buses. Colourful garden to relax in.

Inglewood Guest House is a 3-star property situated in Sandown, facing the sea. It is set 200 metres from Sandown Beach and features a housekeeping service. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. The location and the price. The hosts where great I,ve stayed here about 10 years ago(different owners then) The weather was nice &sunny close to the beach &town. I finally made here as i had to cancel my trip here in august at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstancies.
