Set within 10 km of Borneo Convention Centre Kuching and 15 km of Sarawak Stadium in Kuching, Seladah Stay features accommodation with seating area. Location is very central- plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance. Host was very responsive, and helped arrange everything even though I made a last minute booking. Honestly really good value for money. With good internet speed provided, not having a TV in the room was really not an issue. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a short comfy stop over.

Offering garden views, Merdeka Guest House 2 is an accommodation situated in Kuching, 5.5 km from Sarawak Stadium and 10 km from Borneo Convention Centre Kuching. The host is just from another world. I arrived late (around 22h30) and even though he likes to wake up at 4h30, we kept talking for about half an hour. Then, he goes: "do you want me to show you around?" >> he went on giving me a guided kuching tour in his car. He even wanted to buy me a drink but no shops were open at midnight. Besides this, he would leave traditional sweets for breakfast every day. Legend!!

Located in Kampung Kundasang, Spring Garden offers accommodations in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mount Kinabalu, 24 km from Ranau. This place has definitely exceeded my expectation. It's located about 5km from desa dairy farm and sosodikon Hill. Nearby also have alpaca club, rabbit farm, and strawberry farm. It is at foothill of Mt KK, which means you will get a spectacular view of Mt KK. Fresh air, quiet peaceful, everything you need to escape city life. It also surrounded by beautiful garden. The room comes with heated toilet flooring, heated water for shower and heated bed. The room and toilet are cleaner than some 4-5stars hotel in city. Host, Mr Lee is very nice and friendly. Breakfast is at H.Benjamin place - located just before entering the rocky path. The quality of the breakfast is actually not as bad as other reviews, considered that this is at ulu place. Can order other breakfast at H. Benjamin with reasonable price

Located in Damai, Nanga Damai Homestay features a garden and terrace. Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge and a bar. Perfect little gem, we would go back anytime, the owners are so friendly and helpful, the outside area is amazing, you see monkeys from the terrace almost every day. We loved this place! Make sure you hire a car from Kuching, not only to get to Nanga Damai but also to explore the area, it's worth it and driving is easy, not much traffic at all. If you are fit and like hiking, Mount Santubong is waiting for you :) and the "Blue Pool" is a nice loop, as well. Kuching Wetlands by boat is fun and there's a lot more! ENJOY

Bike and Tours Bed and Breakfast is located in Lahad Datu. It features a restaurant and offers complimentary parking (upon availability) and rooms with free WiFi access. What a well kept, clean, friendly BnB. My husband and I arrived early (not intentionally) and Simon was so accommodating and pleasant. The room was everything we needed and the garden and pool were a bonus. Unfortunately we stayed on a Sunday when there was no supper service; everyone raved about the suppers. We did however enjoy a great breakfast! I would recommend this BnB in a heartbeat!
