Located in Arad, Sun, Mountain & Adventure provides a garden. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Room was well designed with attention to details. Everything was spotless, clean, and super comfortable. The highlight is obviously the porch overlooking the desert. Great hosts and a great place for a quiet getaway.

Featuring free WiFi, Khan Alsira - חאן אלסרה offers accommodation in Alsira centre, a 45-minute drive from Ein Bokek. Free private parking is available on site. A very unique accommodation in an unregistered village, unrecognized by the Israeli government. The host (and activist) Khalil is brilliant, he told us about ways to get by without relying on the government for basic services. Great dinner for 90 JOD per person, cooked by Khalil's family and great breakfast as well. The place is not too far from Masada and Ein Gedi, so it's a nice stop on the way is you travelling around the country.

Located in quiet surroundings in Arad, Dead Sea Sun Guest House provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi access. It was perfect, quiet residential area, very clean, tidy, very well equipped, great value for money, location was excellent for the Festival, the owner is very helpful. I am very satisfied.

Located in Midreshet Ben Gurion, Krivine B&B offers a well-groomed garden with a fish pond and sun loungers for guests to unwind, only 30 metres from the Zin cliff and its magnificent views. There's nothing NOT to love about this spot. Room was spacious and pretty (French room), breakfast great, hosts lovely, everything spotless and tasteful, and the location within Sde Boker is great.

A 25-minute drive from the Dead Sea, the Yehelim Boutique Hotel lies on the outskirts of Arad. It offers spacious rooms with a spa bath and private balcony with views of the desert. Nice location and view. But the best is the staff! If you are fed up with unfriendly hotel staff in Israel this is the the oasis you are looking for. Only hotel in Israel we felt genuinely welcomed as guests and not considered as a walking cash-machine. If we return to Israel to enjoy spring weather in the desert this is the place.
