This was a really great and comfortable place to stay for several days. There are two adjoining rooms, one with a balcony facing the sunrise and one with a balcony facing the sunset. I had the sunset balcony room. The view was gorgeous, the huge bed was extremely comfortable and Miki and Eli made me feel right at home. Definitely recommend!

The host was very accommodating. Went home from a full packed day trip with a fresh lemon juice prepared by the host. He also left us some breads for breakfast. There is a very clean shared fully equipped kitchen with complimentary coffee! Room is nice, with complimentary water, coffee and tea. Spacious toilet and bath. Glad also that they have a parking inside the premises. Bonus - they have roof top with a nice view!

This is a lovely place to stay - really centrally placed just a couple of minutes from the restaurants and the sea front and the old suq. There is no breakfast but there is tea and coffee freely available and some delicious pastries to welcome us when we arrived tired and hungry. Staff are lovely and friendly and the ethos of the place with its emphasis on bringing people from different communities together is a bonus.

Arabesque: An Arts and Residency Center in Old Acre is located in the heart of the Old City of Acre, 2 minutes' walk from the marina. WiFi is free throughout. This is a very special place. What I liked: 1. The location is right in the Old City of Akko. Your neighbors are the people living in Akko, an almost entirely Palestinian area. You can easily walk anywhere in the Old City. 2. The rooms vary (I had 2 different ones) but they are in a traditional building and some have beautiful stone ceilings. All the comforts as well: a/c, TV, nice bathroom/shower. 3. The hotel is dedicated to the arts and to bringing together Palestinians and Jews, so the staff also includes both. 4. Maybe most special of all is that the staff (and Evan, owner and creator) take time to talk with you. You feel a personal connection. Adel, who also helped at the hotel, took me to the studio of artist Ashash, and his works (I didn't notice at first) are all over the nearby streets too. When a member of the staff asks you if you want something to drink or eat, you are sharing with a friend; it's not something to be added to your hotel bill. 5. Hotel is full of books (some by the owner/creator of the hotel). 6. Breakfast is fantastic, more than I could eat. This is more than just a business. This is a creative project.
