For hiking enthusiasts, I embarked on the Markha Valley trek, and they arranged for a local guide while also offering transportation to and from the trailhead. In a world where genuine hospitality can sometimes be hard to come by, Raku Guesst House stands out as a shining example. I wholeheartedly recommend this homestay to anyone seeking not just accommodation but an authentic and heartwarming experience that leaves a lasting imprint of warmth and kindness. I really enjoyed the stay. Padma (I believe is the owner) was really attentive and regularly checked on me if I was doing alright which was really nice. There is proper hot water available for shower too. It it not centralised, so just turn on the switch and let the tank hear up the water. The room was really spacious and the bed was comfortable. Had a really good sleep. I think no compromises were made in terms of comfort of stay for the guests. Some of the power sockets kinda have international adapter built into it. So, I could charge my devices without needing an adapter. I appreciate that extra touch in the room design. Food was also good, with big portion. There is like a shared balcony area with nice view too.

The location is very close to the Leh Main market, just a 5 minutes walk. And, the staff helped us with booking both my room and taxi to various other destinations across Ladakh like Nubra, Pangong etc. Their knowledge and helpfulness in arranging taxis to explore the region made my trip truly memorable. I highly recommend Naazh guest House for its convenient location and the outstanding hospitality provided by its staff.
