The owner lady got up early in the morning and she prepared a Japanese-style breakfast with warm care. I was able to use the sauna even after the breakfast, so I had a pleasant meal and enjoyed the sauna. I left after enjoying a very good rest in hospitality that I can't feel anywhere else in Japan. The bedding in the room was comparable to a 5-star hotel. All the usable spaces were really clean and organized, so just looking at them made me feel good. The usable space is very large compared to typical accommodations in Japan.

The host is really friendly and I had nice breakfast. There’s a bar you may order at night but it’s a pity I didn’t have sufficient time here, wish you all the best!

The owners were extremely hospitable, from helping make reservations for restaurants and activities on the island to greeting us when we come back from a day of exploring the island. The owners prepared meals as well, which was exceptional. We loved the architecture and atmosphere of the accommodation itself, as it was a newly renovated traditional home. Thank you Masumi San and Oo San, we loved our stay here so much I could not speak highly enough! :) <3

Guest House「さごんヴィレッジ」 se află în localitatea Tsushima din regiunea Nagasaki, la 36 km de Sanctuarul Watatsumi. One day, soon I hope, I'll be able to be fluent enough with my Japanese to review places like this one. Nevertheless, still not the case. :'( This place could be described with one world: fabulous. Really, totally, incredibly fabulous. When the bus left me in the middle of nowhere, when I crossed a town slowly, without population to carry out its history, when I found out that the school before the guesthouse was in fact the guesthouse (yeah, should have checked /o), I was as excited as afraid. That was for naught though. Understanding the village his population and history, helps a lot understanding the place. Without children to study in it, the school was closed around 10 years ago, and then repaired, treated with a lot of love and respect until the result you will find there: a cosy, comfortable, clean and warm place run by a bunch of adorable people, always there for advices, recommendations and useful tips. Sleeping alone (not many visitors there !) in this huge empty school may seem a little gloomy and scary (some horror movie vibes ?), you will soon forget about it while enjoying the beautiful scenery surrounding the school, while meeting the villagers and the workers at the tea farm nearby (which were the reason why I went there the first place) and while enjoying the delicious food provided by the hosts (on certain days). These few days were the last of a fantastic month of holidays I spent in Kyushu. Staying there was one of the best ideas I had for sure! お世話になりました!

Tsushima White House se găsește în localitatea Tsushima din regiunea Nagasaki și are cazare cu WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită, precum și acces la o baie cu hidromasaj. I wish I could give 11 points for this guesthouse. It was one of the best places I have ever stayed in. The host is incredibly kind and we had some great conversations. And not to forget the incredible breakfast! I will come back and next time stay longer.

Yukinoura Guest House Moritaya se află în Saikai, la 38 km de Parcul Păcii, și pune la dispoziție o grădină, un lounge comun și parcare privată gratuită. Feels like home. It's really comfortable and the owner very friendly.

Minshuku Umi no Sachi se găsește în Sasebo, la 40 km de Huis Ten Bosch, și are camere cu climatizare. Meal was yummy and fish was fresh....we loved the sashimi

TSUDOI guest house se găsește în Unzen, la 47 km de Muzeul de Istorie Nagasaki, și are unități de cazare cu aer condiționat și facilități de grătar. It’s right in center of the town, the host provided useful guide to the mountains. Free ticket to the onsen! Besides all that, we had a hot pot together with the host and his friend! It was the best I’ve ever had. 一さん, I wish you have a wonderful trip to New Zealand and we’ll meet again somewhere in the world😁

Ikibase Guest House se găsește în Iki, la 15 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Tsutsuki, și oferă un lounge comun și parcare privată gratuită. The location was near some really nice beaches. The staff were wonderful.
