You won’t regret staying here - it is a magical location in the jungle with a stunning pool and gracious hosts. We were welcomed by the owner and had a delightful cottage with our own terrace. The pool has the most incredible views. There are no bugs in the evenings so you can sit outside and enjoy the jungle noises. You are able to book dinner which was delicious and would recommend. The work and effort that goes into this place is amazing. There are a number of walking trails which we enjoyed including a swim in the river. This is a very special place to stay. Oh you get nice white cotton sheets and great towels!!

The garden has a lot of animals and is beautiful. The room is big enough and has a large bed of good quality with good sheets. The bathroom has a bath. The host is very helpful and kind. What an absolutely amazing place, out of all our travels this might be our all-time favorite. The cabins are lovely and the view in the morning is amazing. The entire location is just gorgeous. I was pleasantly surprised by the bathroom and the showers, the water was always warm and relatively insect-free. In fact, there aren't many bugs there at all. The food was quite good, it's mostly the typical Costa Rican food but I'm sure if you ask, they could make something else for you. It's a fantastic place for birdwatching, whether you are a serious birder or not. Some normally pretty rare birds are easily found there. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the birds. You can go on a free coffee tour if you're staying there. We also had a lot of fun walking the trails and often tagged along with the birding tour that takes place every morning. However, you can also spend all days sitting in the little restaurant area and watch the hummingbirds, toucans, aracaris, tanagers and other birds at the feeders.
