Everything was really superb. We had our stay in the very comfortable room with the yakuzi in front of the room. The view from the balcony was incredible. In the morning and evening we could see a lot of aras flying above us. It was a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was also very good, and you could even ask for more coffee and bread, it was very nice!

Agustino was very king and helpfull, the place is very well maintain, awesome Access to the beach through a little park where you can see many couple of arras very well. Better than in cararra national Park actually.

Absolutely stunning location. The owner Ivan was very responsive on WhatsApp. The apartment is right in the middle of nature and close to Carara National Park and the Crocodile tour. Highly recommend both. We didn’t hire a car but we were recommended a local driver who took us around. You need a car to get to the local shops, so it is recommended. The apartment is spacious and very stylish which is well equipped with utensils, washing machine etc. We visited over the Easter period and the pool was empty and massive! So lovely to have it to ourselves. The grounds are safe and well maintained. Overall an amazing location and apartment. We had an amazing time. Nothing will beat the beautiful sunset :)

The best thing about the property is the location. I am a birdwatcher. This is prime birding area in the Carara/Tarcoles region. Until now you will only hear of Cerro Lodge as a recommendation by birders. This is a cheap, value-for-money alternative for those looking to bird on a tight budget in this area. The rooms are OK, nothing much to praise there. But the property is secluded. If there are no other tourists you can have the open pool to yourself. My friend and I enjoyed relaxing there in the evening. The owner is friendly and stayed in touch to ensure we were OK.
