Ideal location for the airport, only 5 minutes in a taxi. Very clean and spacious. Great balcony. Great host, very helpful. Close to cafe and bakery. Location is quiet.

We enjoyed very much our stay at Ellen Apartamentos. Our flight was delayed, we landed at 1:00 am and the host came to the location and gave us the key. The location was offering an extremely good value for money. We could communicate with the host in French and English.

It completely exceeded our expectations! Host - Amazing! Welcomed us with a big smile, was super friendly, kind, and very helpful both before and during our stay even with matters not related to the accommodation. He even got some freebies ready in the fridge, which took us by complete surprise! He did go the extra mile by being always available, social, and making us feel like at home. Accomm - very safe and beautiful! Had more than we expected starting with so much kitchen dishware and other equipment such as a drying clothes rack, broom, mop, ... It was clean, spacious, super modern, beautifully stylished with little touches that make a difference like blankets, candles, ... Bed was comfy! And my fav was the Sephora hand soap! :)))) Just a side note - the bedroom has a window right by the ceiling that is actually on a street level. So you can hear the street noise a bit more, but I am a light sleeper and did not have any problem actually. We enjoyed our stay a would come back for sure! Thank you Hugo!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to get to know the real Sal and its people. The owners went above and beyond to make me feel not only welcome, but truly at home. The room was super comfy, and the food was always delicious (be sure to try one of Candida's secret recipes for dinner, if you get the chance). I was provided with all the help and advice I needed in order to explore the island, and Candida and Martin personally took me to places that only local people know about. If, like me, you prefer a quiet, remote beach over those crowed, touristy ones: there's a small one just a short bicycle ride away – although I usually opted for a walk through to beautiful steppe landscape to get there. If you prefer spending your days with the other tourists down in the south of the island: Santa Maria beach is only 20 minutes by bus – which may sound complicated at first, but is actually super fun and convenient (and it only costs 1 Euro). I could go on praising this place for two weeks (which is actually the amount of time I stayed), but I'll just stop here – not without saying: Thank you, Candida & Martin, for the wonderful time at kleine schweiz! The owner Isabel helped me a lot of to organize my travel in Cabo Verde. Thank you Isabel. The room and the bed was big and very comfortable. The common bathroom is very clean. Espargos is an excellent place to discover the island Sal, the Blue Eye an the Salinas de Pedra de Lume are very close. For a next time visit I would take Rooming house without any hesitation.

Very clean and big apartment. It is full furnished and the owner is very friendly and helpful. It’s not far from the airport. The location is very good supermarket and restaurant are near the apartment. Highly recommended.

This was a late night, unexpected booking due to a delayed ferry. We were met by both the owner and the manager. The apartment is spacious, airy, very nicely decorated and super comfortable with great beds, and air con. Fully equipped kitchen and some very useful outside space. The owner, was super helpful, although I don't think he's there full time as he lives elsewhere. He was so very very kind by giving my husband some food. We'd asked if the apartment was free on the night of the day we were leaving just in case we were stuck with the unreliable ferries, unfortunately it wasn't, but he offered us a bed in his own apartment if we were stuck. Now this is kindness personified, however on Xmas Eve it took kindness to another level. It's what Christmas is really about, isn't it?

Fantastic location, comfortable, clean, safe, an area to sit outside, the owners are so so kind and helpful and always do their best to make you feel comfortable I really enjoyed my stay.
