The apartment we had was clean and comfortable. We found the bed very comfortable, maybe a bit too firm for some. The apartment is part of a mill complex and is family run. The place was so peaceful and who doesn’t want to fall asleep to the glorious sound of running water! The location was perfect, easy to park there and walk up in to Rothenburg, it is uphill but we are in our seventies and managed it with comparative ease in about 10 minutes. Parts of the mill are very old and the history of the place was visible in the buildings. The family who own the place were lovely and friendly and very welcoming. We felt the apartment was excellent value for money, we have stayed in similar places in the English Lake District but at three times the cost. Highly recommended!

Location was perfect and beautiful, you could see the iconic tower by just leaning out the livingroom window. Stunningly decorated, I felt right at home and comfortable. Amazingly clean. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Beautiful attic apartment with everything we need. Parking as well as key collection were seamless as Jen gave us clear instruction. Breakfast was delicious. The town is pretty small and we could easily walk around from the apartment. Very quiet location and we slept really well.

The cathedral was on the same street past the tower. You are in the authentic part of historical Rothenburg when you stay here! Our room was adequate size with table and chairs along with the bed. Everything was clean. The breakfast was excellent, with breads, meats, cheese, fruit, cereal, yogurt and eggs. Coffee and tea. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Lovely interiors and decorations, the host was really lovely. There was oil etc. for cooking, hot water from the shower, and the apartment heated up well. There was even wine which could be purchased as well as a mini bar with very good prices. They’d thought of everything. The restaurant down the road also was great, good prices and big dishes.
