This spot has character! It is a dreamy location, with everything you need to get away from it all and relax. The owners and staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. They work with passion to ensure you enjoy your stay, as well as connect with them. Lean into the experience and listen to their stories. It's island living, with just enough wifi to check in with the real world and gekos to keep you company at night... but in exchange you experience something unlike anywhere else that so many others miss out on. Be sure to snorkel lots and enjoy this magical property. We loved the views from the pool/outdoor shower, as well as lounging areas. The food is incredible!!! Such amazing cooks and always cold cocktails/beers as sunset approaches. Who know what the future holds for Gili Gede, but we feel so lucky to have momentarily glimpsed the incredible energy at Tanjungan Bukit. We leave with full hearts.

Mango Homestay on Gili Gede is incredible! In 5-10 years this place will be a lot busier, but in the meantime it is a quiet slice of paradise. There are two homestays on Gili Gede but Mango is located far more ideally than the other one. AtMango you can move freely around the island, but this isn't the cae at the other homestay. I would also mention the meal I ate here was excellent, the room itself was basic but met all my expectations, but most importantly the snorkelling tours of the surrounding slands I organised through the homestay were unreal. Can't recommend visiting the Sekotong Gilis enough!

I had the pleasure of staying at Pelangi Homestay with a friend and we were blown away by the experience. The owners are incredibly welcoming and lovely, and Zuria, in particular, is an absolute delight. She is sweet, friendly, and cooks the most delicious food! We were lucky enough to go on two snorkeling trips during our stay, one of which was with Zuria's dad who is just as kind as his daughter. We also had the opportunity to explore the islands of Gili Nanggu and Kedis with Anton, a very nice man who showed us around and engaged us in interesting conversations. The homestay itself is impeccably clean and the atmosphere is fantastic. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the islands. We cannot recommend Pelangi Homestay enough! The setting is perfect, you have beautiful views from both the bar area and the balcony in your room. The staff were all attentive and went out of the way to assist you. Gilet took me around the island on his motorbike and I went for daily walks with the chairman of the yacht club. Beds were extremely comfortable and the internet fast

Pearl Beach was exceptional. The understated elegance is beautifully integrated with the environment, and while it doesn’t advertise as an eco-resort, it walks the talk being fully off-grid/self supporting with discreet solar power, well water etc. The house reef restoration also offers the best snorkelling on the island and the variety of fish life is astounding! Staff go out of their way to be helpful, and the restaurant and services were surprisingly affordable given the remoteness of the destination.

The entire space and the atmosphere from Palmyra, the fact that you could do some kayaking in the area, the food was really delicious, especially the Pepes and the whole grilled fish, we do recommend guests to try that, it is 5 stars food and a 5 stars cook!!!
