The hosts, wonderful people. They treated us like family, they took us to rheir cardamom fields, to the waterfall, they offered us good vibes and help, all the time with love and a smile. Food was fantastic, made from their own culture. The house is new and beautiful, amazing comfortable bed. Located in the mountains, in the silence, next to one of the big watterfalls in the area. Highly recommend it and for sure going back. Thanks family!

K Mansion was the perfect place to be based to explore Munnar! It is isolated but that is part of the beauty, and it is easy enough to get the bus or the staff will arrange a tuk tuk. The dorm was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful with any question or request.

We had a wonderful time staying at Sceva's! The view is breathtaking, up the hill, facing the valley and the mountains. The swimming pool is very pleasant to swim, and is big enough to swim and have fun. The facilities and equipment is in perfect condition. Everything was extremely clean and nicely organized. You are staying in a family house, so some principles has to be observed to respect the home and family. Benny was super helpful and has great advice about the touristic spots. We had the chance to observe wild elephants during our stay and to see stunning landscape of plantations in a quiet area driving a heavenly road. We loved to walk around in Adimaly which is a small and authentic city, where you can really feel the atmosphere of a non touristic place which was very nice to discover. 1h to 40min drive from Munnar town, but we really didn't regret it. The road to go there is marvellous and is a part of the experience. Munnar center is very busy and chaotic. Be aware that the homestay is remote from the city, you can't walk to go there. We had our car rental so it was really perfect. Otherwise you need a driver or a tuktuk to go around. The advantage is the pure air, the quietness and the sound of birds and nature around which was our best choice! We stayed in both wooden room and other room and both had a wonderful view and great atmosphere. The more non-wooden room we had was really European of a luxury homestay standard 🙏 The wooden room was a wonderful, exotic and relaxing ambiance 🙏

Amazing location (like a paradise) for nature-loving people. Very peaceful, you can chill out after sightseeing or trekking. Lots of birds (especially in the morning), trees and other plants (like pepper and cardamon). Ten minutes away is a waterfall and two other places where you can spend time by the river. In the evening you can watch the night sky full of stars. Hosts are very friendly and helpful, you can also order (besides breakfast) delicious homemade lunches and dinners. And there is a gentle and playful labrador and two cats in the garden :) We had spacious, clean room with a balcony and mountain view. Bathroom was also big and tidy. You can get from here to Munnar by public bus (Anaviratty bus stop by the main road) or to 2nd Mile (Randa Mile) to see wonderful Kathakali and Kalaripayattu show (Punarjani Traditional Village). Quite close is Pettimudi View Point. Another attraction (but further) are the wild elephants in Anakulam (they come to drink water from a river). For backpackers: we got here from Kochi (Ernakulam) by bus (the stop is in Adimaly, but you can take a rickshaw from here directly to homestay or you can check if there is a local bus from Adimaly to Anaviratty).
