The location is in the perfect spot for taking day trips to Flam, driving up the mountain or just walking around the small village. The hotel is in the heart of some of the most spectacular views of the fjord. The host was really nice, and the apartment was beautiful, well maintained and had all the amenities required for a short comfortable stay. Note that the SPAR outlet in Aurland (~ 5-6 mins drive) closes by 8pm if you need to pick up groceries.
